The many faces of Luken and Keeley

Surprise, surprise.... the weather is beautiful so I've been outside with the kids, taking lots and lots of pics! :D And I do mean LOTS! On Friday afternoon, I took 275 pictures in our backyard!!! Here are my favorites...

First, some posed shots. The kids LOVE holding up my digital calibration target, but then quickly tire of actually sitting there and having the camera up in their face.

So then we just have some fun!

This is Luken upside-down on the slide.

Peek-a-boo Keeley!

The some seriousness.

Then some major goofing around! Keeley would go down the slide face first, then roll around in the grass.

Her bold fashion choice for the day:

Luken joins in the slide fun. He likes to slide down backwards.

Then Keeley ran over to the fence to be ridiculously beautiful for a moment.

I guess that was too much for her, because next she went into the house. This really made Luken terribly sad. It makes no sense, as they were fighting over the slide nonstop, but as soon as she disappeared, Luken went into full tantrum mode:
Photobucket

Have you ever seen such sad eyes? Doesn't it just break your heart? ;)
Photobucket

Waaaaaaaaaaahh!
Photobucket

I'll just slide and pout at the same time...
Photobucket

Oh, look... she's back! Let's practice our jump-spin now!!!! :D

Then we spotted an earthworm, and crouched down to investigate!

While Luken was sitting still in the grass, I snapped a few more...

He was rubbing some grass between his hands and letting it drop on that poor worm.

Then he distracted me with his beautiful blues...

More Keeley cuteness:

And, back on the slide!

Hey, let's see if I can climb into the playhouse through the window!

(For the record, the answer was 'no,' but it was fun to watch her try! :P)

Oh, hi Luken!

And 'bye!"

Ms. Keeley found a flower.

OK, that's all I've got, haha! Hope you enjoyed it! :)

Those pictures are beautiful! Having such wonderful subjects help! :) But for a minute I thought Luken was rubbing the earthworm in his hands! Glad to find out it was just grass!
