A special visitor!

Well, I don't know what the official term would be, so I'll explain who our visitors were! Todd's mom's cousin's daughter, and her husband and their daughter. We'll just call them cousins!

Anyway, Catherine, Norm, and Alexa were in the area visiting other family, and they made some time to come and visit us, which was wonderful, as most of us have never met in person. Todd says the last time he saw Catherine, they were both pre-adolesent/early teens! Catherine and I keep in touch a bit - via email, Christmas cards, and baby congratulations, so it was great to meet in person and visit for a while.

Alexa made herself right at home and got straight to playing, while Luken and Keeley both crawled into Daddy's lap for a bit before they warmed up. But, before too long, they were all having a grand time, and the adults got to chat for a bit.

I knew I'd be in big trouble if I didn't snap a few pictures of the kids together, so here they are! Alexa is such a sweetie - very loving and gives the best "big hugs!"

Thanks for the visit, guys! We really enjoyed it! :D

Art, or dessert?

Time to decorate the Gingerbread House!!
Both kids thought it was delicious! More eating than decorating, that's for sure! :D

Photos by Todd - didn't he do a fantastic job??!!

Luken, checking out the candy offerings.

Getting started.

Putting on some "glue."

Aren't I concentrating so deeply? :P

Keeley, working her way through a bowl of Nerds - yum!

Beautiful blues1

Gorgeous girl!

This is serious business, you know!

Some favorites from a holiday card session...

Now that our holiday cards have been mailed and hopefully delivered, I can share some of the photos from the two photo sessions I had with the kiddos to get card-worthy images!

Here are pics from the first go - this one was just me and the kids and I had such a hard time wrangling them up to pose! Keeley was ALL over the place, and kept pulling her hairbow out. But it was fun nonetheless...

Phew! That was a lot, I know! But these kids are just too darn cute! :D (Not that I have any kind of bias, here, haha!)

Dear Santa...

Luken wrote to Santa this year! (With a little help from Daddy and Mommy!)

Nice expression, haha!

Writing "cup."

Pondering what else to put on the list.

Writing "Elmo" - for Keeley! :D

Speaking of Keeley...

... She wanted in on all the fun!
