Our Trip to Austin

In early November, Todd had a business meeting in Austin, so we all tagged along and made a trip of it!

We drove down on a Thursday evening, and on Friday, while Todd was at his meeting, the kids and I visited the Childrens' Museum!

It was a great little museum - just perfect for us that day!

Later, back at our hotel, it was time for a PILLOW FIGHT!

Later, we went to an Austin-area hot-spot called The Oasis, which overlooks Lake Travis, and is famous for it's view of the sunset.  They have terraces upon terraces, and it really is quite lovely there!

The next day, we had a nice breakfast, and then headed downtown to tour the capital!

Over at the Visitors Center, we had more fun.

Then we stopped for some yummy BBQ and then took the scenic route home!
We really enjoyed our visit to Austin - can't wait to go back!
