This spring, I signed her up to play, and then found they were short on coaches, so I decided to step up. I was nervous, as it has been 10 years since I coached, or even touched a ball! Once we got through all the boring paperwork-y stuff, we had a great time. It's nice to have volleyball back in my life, and 1000x times more fun getting to share it with my daughter!!!
We got to name the team and pick our shirt color, so I left the decisions up to Keeley. She chose the name Volleywogs, and the color HOT pink!
Our team consisted of 1st and 2nd graders (and one go-getter Kindergartner.)
