Ft. Worth Zoo

In March, we took our first-ever trip to the Ft. Worth Zoo.  It was Homeschool Day, and we had some science work to bring along.  Another friend of ours met up with us there, and we had a fantastic day!  (The drive was a royal pain, but the weather was incredible, and once we were in the gate, the day went perfectly.)











The bird enclosure was amazing!  Such pretty birds in there!




The kids tried to make friends with birds by tempting them with peanut-butter laden sticks rolled in bird seed.  :)




This guy was a big old show-off!
