When we were (sadly) done with the beach, the kids were absolutely DRENCHED and covered in sand. As you'd expect. So, naturally, we did what normal parents do when you LEAVE the beach. Change them OUT of their clothes and put them IN their bathing suits. :P
Back at the house, it was time to check on the chickens - had they laid any eggs?
Three! (But, one was broken. Sad face.)
So beautiful!
Let's race!
Keeley played with Tundra.
Well, as long as we're in our suits, how about some hot-tubbing?!
Don't mind if I do. ;)
Grandpa is home!
Luken picked some blueberries from Grandpa's garden.
This is one gorgeous kid.
Todd and I fixed dinner for everyone, and then he and Don made a fire in the firepit. The only logical thing to do next was bring out some marshmallows, chocolate, and graham crackers. Logic, I tell ya!
You can't put a price on these kinds of memories!
My expertly-roasted marshmallow.
Yes, please.
Hammock snuggles topped off the most excellent day of all time!!!!!
