This year, we were graced with a visit from Don & Carol for Thanksgiving, which was wonderful!!
Here is our day - mostly the food we ate. A vast majority of our recipes were from the Pioneer Woman, and they were fabulous!! :D
Our centerpiece, which was delivered, courtesy of Don & Carol. It was so beautiful!
I had prepped a TON of stuff the day before, so on T-day, we were able to relax and visit and enjoy most of the day. We had gotten our turkey from Whole Foods and brined it ourselves, and then stuck it in the oven. It ended up being done a whole lot earlier than we had intended, so at the end, we were scrambling to get everything else caught up, but it turned out fine!
One of my cooking companions, hee hee!
Mr. Turkey
Cranberry sauce, from scratch. YUM!
Carrots in Bourbon sauce. :P
Mashed potatoes.
Makin' gravy, baby!
Rolls (OK, these were store bought, but they are so good and didn't compete for oven time, ha!)
Carved and ready to go!
Dressing, green beans, and carrots!
The table is all set! Come and get it!
Ready to eat!
Hello, pie!
Goodbye, pie! :P
