Playing Horsey and other fun!

Luken and Keeley were so cute this morning! They figured out how to play Horsey all by themselves!

Luken was the horse, of course...




















After that fell apart and arguments ensued (as per usual, LOL!) we had fun just goofing around.

Keeley asked for a peek at the back of the camera!


Then I tried to take control... silly me! I asked them to sit on the end of the coffee table, and Luken thought he'd be sweet and give Keeley a kiss:


She didn't want to be kissed, and that made Luken feel sad...




Keeley wasn't happy, either.


Luken was very into posing with his sad face! :D


So Keeley snuck away.


Luken cheered up a bit when I started tickling him!






Then they went back to watching Cars, and Keeley picked up her trusty Jak Jak for some soothing thumb sucking.

Luken wanted another turn in front of the camera... I obliged! ;)

Easily distracted, he is.


But also oh, so very handsome!!


And so sweet!

It's hot... how 'bout some swimming pics?

A couple of weeks ago, Luken and our next-door-neighbor friend, Jacob, took swimming lessons from a local woman named Sally.

At first, it went fairly well... the first day, Luken had a fantastic time! I didn't bring my camera that day, as I wasn't quite sure what the set-up would be, and I had Keeley with me, so I decided not to complicate matters. On the second day, though, I brought it along!

That day was a struggle, but as the week went on, Luken gained some confidence and starting having some fun!

On the last day, they jumped off the diving board!

Then Luken's turn. He was sooo excited, but a little apprehensive once the big moment arrived. But he did GREAT!!






The little siblings showed their support and admiration by sharing a snack on the sidelines:

How cute... they got medals at the end of the week! They were true champions - hurray!

Since then, it has just been brutally hot here, so we've been sticking pretty close to home and soaking in the air conditioning that we're paying a premium to have this year. The temperatures have been 105º+ this week.... yikes! So, there haven't really been many photos taken lately. I will try to remedy that soon! :D
