Keeley's Indian Princesses tribe participated in a 4th of July parade, and Keeley and Todd joined in the festivities.
A few days before, the two of them went off to decorate the float, while Luken and I had a date on a patio for dinner. :)
The morning of the parade, we met up with the tribe. It was fun to see the float and get to meet all the girls in the tribe, their fathers, and other family members.
Miss Keeley (Brave Warrior) and the float.
Dad and daughter.
The biggest fan in the crowd!
She was so stinkin' cute! She waved her flag the whole way, and waved to the crowd like a pro!
Luken also waved his flag with pride. He really enjoyed watching Keeley in the parade.
After the parade, we had lunch on another patio (we have had the BEST July weather EVER, and we have enjoyed it!)
Later, we drove to our favorite fireworks-watching-parking lot, and settled in for a bit. We brought UNO cards to help pass the time until the show.
Then, fireworks!
We had a great day. :)
