Here are some pictures from our nice, quiet Easter!
The kids woke up and found their baskets.
Then they hunted down the eggs all over the house!
Later, we had a potluck lunch with some friends, and then came home for a light dinner of deviled eggs and salads! It was a nice day. :)

Egg Decorating
We had a fairly mild winter - no nasty ice storms, so this spring we actually got to have our "bad weather makeup days" off from school!
We took the opportunity to decorate some Easter eggs with friends!
Ms. Keeley. I saw a neat tip recently about using a kitchen whisk to hold the eggs while dipping - worked like a dream!
After the dye dried, we whipped out some glue and glitter. Why not?!
Climbing the Tree!
As promised, I took the kids back to the bluebonnet field to visit their favorite tree! Some of their friends went, as well, to get their flower shots, and they all got to play together. Here is the fun!
We wish we had more climbing trees around us!

Bluebonnets 2012!
Yes, it's time for the Bluebonnet photos! They were early this year, and in fine form. Best crop in at least 5 years!!
Things started off a little dicey - Keeley was cold, but then the kids pulled it together and gave me some great shots! Then things got a little silly.
Isn't she the loveliest???
After I got what I wanted, we turned them loose to play around a bit. They couldn't go up to their favorite tree, as it was in the middle of a fancy photo session, but I took them up there a week later - those pics to come!
Keeley was in the middle of a very animated story here.
Todd took some behind-the-scenes shots for me! :)
Trying to convince Keeley that she wasn't really all that cold, and if she just moved around a bit, she'd be OK.
I love the cows in the background!
That's all I've got. Hope you liked 'em!
