Here our are little turkeys, all dressed up for dinner!
And a rare picture of just me! I chopped off a whole lot of hair on Wednesday, so I needed a new picture. I actually think it needs a bit more shaping up, but overall, I'm very happy with it! I needed a change.
And, a picture of me and my sweet babies!!
Hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving! We had a nice dinner at one of our favorite restaurants - yum!

Is she my daughter, or WHAT??!! :)
I recently reconnected with a good friend from childhood, and as I was going through an old photo album to find pictures of us together as kids, I ran across some photos from when I was Keeley's age.
See any resemblance? :D
January, 1978 (almost 4)
Halloween, 1977 (3 1/2) My sister, Karen's, birthday.
Unknown. I wish this was was clearer, because it looks SO much like Keeley's smile!
Christmas 1977 (3 1/2) That's my Grandpa to the left! (My mother's father.)

Wheeeee!
Yesterday, at the park, Luken actually figured out how to swing by himself!! This is a day I have been anxiously awaiting for a long time!
In other Luken-is-awesome news, his monthly progress report came home in his backpack yesterday. He has mastered: Speaks Clearly, Can Recognize Printed Name, and Recognizes Shapes. He is progressing in: Holds Pencil Correctly and Recognizes Shapes (just the rhombus. Heck, I'm not even sure what a rhombus is! :P
Then, in the comments section: "Luken is very friendly and plays nicely with others, always sharing. He likes to add information at circle and discuss stories we read. I am glad Luken is in our class." Ms. Debra
We are so proud of our little man!! :D

Let's go fly a kite!!
For Luken's birthday, he received some kites, but it either hasn't been windy at all, or there have been gale force winds battering the neighborhood. On Sunday, there was a little bit of a breeze, so we walked to a nice open space on the next street and gave it a go.
On our way...
Getting it ready.
And away we go!
Luken and his kite!
Keeley all tangled up!
Then the kids were distracted by a giant fireant pile!
Next up, a race!
And then some "Hold on Tight" and "Up in the Sky!"
Hope you enjoyed the flight! ;)

Snakesssssssssssssssssssssssssssss!!!!!!
Beth, you are hereby dismissed from reading this post! ;)
The Museum of Science and Nature had a reptile exhibit last weekend, and I took the kids down there to check it out. After octopuses and sea animals, Luken loves snakes best! :D Keeley actually likes them a bunch, too!
This picture is actually kind of horrible, but I LOVED the look on Keeley's face!
Keeley REALLY wanted to hold a snake, and was mighty pissed off anytime someone suggested she merely pet one, yet she'd squeal and drop one if she actually held one, so I had to hold on to this snake while she "held" it.
We missed a lecture, but managed to get first in line when they brought out this big guy!
Then we met this big tortoise, who is 14 years old and over 100 pounds!! Keeley made a friend and they got down on their tummies to get a closer look.
It was a really neat exhibit! There were also a lot of cute crafts for the kids to do, and visiting with all the reptiles was very cool! I can't believe how brave I was - holding snakes like it was no big deal! ;)

The photo session!
So, here are the pictures from the photo session we did after the custard snack!
We headed to the Heritage Museum, where there are many very old houses on property with cute porches and lots of fun things to explore!
I believe a train museum is relocating to the property, and there was a train car and caboose to check out!
There is also a little fountain area, with statues of two young sisters. It is really cute!
Aw, a little sibling love!
A great place to jump, I guess!
Or pout... take your pick!
Ooh, a manhole cover, or something equally enthralling!
OK, so without further ado, the pictures I actually set out to take!!
