More silly sleeping pics!

This is becoming a hilarious habit! This afternoon Luken tried to escape his quiet rest time, so I sent him back into his room for a short while more, and when I went to get him, this is how I found him!

After a morning of playing hard in the yard, Keeley went down for a nap and Luken settled in for his "quiet rest" while I got some much needed quiet time of my own. When I went up to release Luken from his rest, I found him asleep at the head of his bed, with his legs dangling between the bed and the nightstand!

So, being the good mother that I am, instead of waking him OR trying to make him more comfortable, I snuck back downstairs and grabbed my camera! :P

The band-aid is from his run-in with the swing at the Halloween party the day before. You can see the two marks, one under the band-aid, and the other right below his ear lobe... ouch!

A picnic lunch!

We are soaking up the lovely weather that Fall often brings. It has been beyond gorgeous, and today we had absolutely NO plans, so the kids got to have their lunch in the backyard while I snapped a few pics! :D

It may look like she's stealing food from his plate, but she was actually offloading HER food onto HIS plate! (Not that he had any interest in it! LOL!)

She did manage to take a few bites here and there.

This was probably him blocking her from further depositing the contents of her lunch onto his plate, but it almost looks as though they're just having a sweet moment! :D

Then she moved on to feeding him directly!

All filled up, and bringing his plate in like a well-mannered boy! (If only he were always well-mannered...)

The day after the other pumpkin patch outing, we took a family trip up to another pumpkin patch/farm! It didn't open until noon, so the lighting is quite harsh, but what can you do?

Pumpkins on the Prairie

The other Saturday, Todd and our neighbor, Patrick headed to a guitar show together, so Kelli and I took the kids down to a local pumpkin patch for the morning!
